Our guided 1-hour lessons are full of creative freedom and fun.
Get Reactive - Pumpkin Patch Pottery

Choose from a plentiful patch of pumpkins and explore The Studio’s reactive glazes. Reactive glazes are layered with special recipes and the magic happens in the kiln, turning those dull and chalky glazes to brilliance. With one piece under their belt at the end of class, kiddos can confidently add these fun specialty glazes to their pottery painting toolkit.
Gem Mining & Geode Cracking

We’re teaming up with Hamilton Gem Mining Co. to offer a fun end-of-season social at the sluice. We’ll mine for treasures, identity our collection, check out some extra special pieces from Hamilton Gem Mining Co.’s collection, and crack a geode. This after school art experience leans more heavily into science and exploration. The artwork is in the gemstones and geodes!
Monster Mosaics

Build your own monster mosaic! With plenty of colors and shapes to choose from, everyone is going to start with the same template and end with a special monster unique to them. What will our monsters names be? We’ll see!
Note: mosaic tiles will be glued at class. Grout, a sponge, and super simple instructions will travel home for project completion.
After School Art sessions are $25 each and registration is required so that we can prepare supplies accordingly. Drop off is in the party room. Parents may leave and return, or you are welcome to hang out in the main studio space, as space allows.
